Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's mother, made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of eleven. She is the second youngest winner in Oscar History. Paquin played Frankie Addams as a child in the 1996 television version of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin played Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 film Amistad. The role she played was for teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). Also, she portrayed the teen groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
